Study in Eindhoven
Eindhoven, internationally known as a centre of science and technology, is the fifth largest city in the Netherlands. The location is very favourable. There are good transportation facilities by car, train and plane. The student are entitled to use the Sports Centre of TU/E, for free of charge. The facilities include swimming, tennis and other kinds of sports. Some major industries are located in Eindhoven, such as Philips and DAF-trucks. There are a host of other things which set Eindhoven apart: the fact that it has its own airport, as well as hotels, cafes, pubs and restaurants, shops of all types and sizes, pleasant, friendly streets, beautiful parks, a lively and attractive centre and cultural and sporting activities of international standing. Most famous is football club PSV. Eindhoven also hosts several art galleries and museums, cinemas, theatres and the Frits Philips Concert Hall.
